Richport Properties is pleased to announce their sponsorship for the Spring Baseball Classic being held at Turner Field on April 24. Benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the event will feature a great collegiate rivalry baseball game between the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Georgia Institute of Technology Yellow Jackets. Preceding the game two of Atlanta's best high school teams, St. Pius X and Norcross High, will showcase their talents.

By teaming with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for a fun-filled day of baseball, we are doing so much more than providing a sponsorship. We could be providing the ticket to a better life for a sick child."
In 2006, more than 25,000 tickets were sold to the event at Turner Field, making it one of the largest NCAA baseball games in history. Last year's event raised more than $220,000, which will be used along with this year's proceeds to purchase an intra-operative MRI machine for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Benefiting doctor and patient, the machine improves the view of a child's brain during surgery. The MRI machine is quite expensive, though, which is why events such as the Spring Baseball Classic and other fundraisers are so beneficial.
The 2007 Spring Baseball Classic is being presented by the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, Inc. The St. Pius X and Norcross High baseball game will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Turner Field, with the Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets game following at 7:00 p.m. To learn more about the event, please visit the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta web site at www.choa.org.
